Managing users

Finding an account and seeing everything attached to it.

1 min read

Admin → Users lists every account with its status, role, and join date.

The detail view#

Opening a user shows everything attached to them in one place — subscriptions with their license keys and activated domains, order history, downloads, redeemed codes, and referral activity. It is built for support: one lookup answers most tickets without going to four other screens.

Editing#

Name, email, status, role, and locale. Changing the email changes where their notifications go and does not affect their license keys.

Suspending#

Suspend an account to block sign-in without deleting anything. Available individually and in bulk, alongside bulk activation.

Note that suspending the user does not by itself stop their license verifying — that is governed by subscription status. To cut off a running installation, suspend the subscription as well.

Password-set state#

Accounts created by a webhook start with no password and are flagged as such. Until the customer follows their set-password link they are held on that screen. If a customer says they cannot get in, check this flag first — it usually means the welcome email never arrived.

Deletion#

Customers can delete their own account from their profile. Think carefully before deleting one yourself: orders and subscriptions are financial records, and you may need them for tax or dispute purposes long after the customer has gone. Suspending is usually the right answer.
